JALAMART—an e-commerce platform that places a special emphasis on delivering exceptional frozen seafood to the Indonesian market. At the heart of their mission is the direct sourcing of products from local Indonesian fishermen, thus empowering small-scale fishing communities and upholding the ocean's sustainability.




Jalamart's frozen products can be purchased through e-commerce platforms, Jala agents, as well as by bicycle-cart traveling in residential neighborhoods. Sustainability and safety upon delivery are integral to our mission. The packaging design features trays made from waterproof sugarcane materials, which are biodegradable and eco-friendly. Additionally, the transparent wrap is made from seaweed-based plastic. The tray itself can be reused to keep the products frozen, reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility.



To guarantee the utmost freshness of its frozen food ordered through online platforms, we decided to the use of sturdy cardboard boxes for the instant delivery system. As a nod to its name and ethos, the net serves as a prominent graphic element, unifying Jala's identity in various applications.
In its commitment to reducing plastic usage, Jala offers a thoughtful incentive to their valued consumers. For qualifying purchases, customers will receive a complimentary waterproof shopping bag. This eco-friendly alternative not only promotes sustainability but can also be purchased separately for additional convenience.

Going back to the identity design, the J logomark maybe emploid in multiple fashion; one of which as a placeholder on promotional materials, such as posters and banners, bringing into mind Jalamart's vision to become a platform that anchors down and unite local artisanal fisheries with the wider Indonesian market.

In Indonesian, the word 'Jala' translates to 'net,' symbolizing the interconnectedness of threads that bring together a diverse community of fishermen and consumers, forming a unified entity. The Identity system is thoughtfully crafted to embody the company's core values, featuring a bespoke logotype inspired by the distinctive typefaces commonly seen on local street vendor signage. This approach lends a sense of familiarity and authenticity to the brand.
The 'J' mark subtly references the shape of an anchor, paying homage to the maritime roots of the community. Additionally, the vibrant color palette draws inspiration from the traditional paint used on Indonesian fishermen boats. This choice harmoniously complements the overall branding and ensures the logo stands out, leaving a lasting and memorable impression across various mediums.
The brand guideline is created to serve as a foundation for maintaining the essence of Jalamart's identity across all touchpoints, from their online presence to the bicycle-cart service. The guideline ensures that Jalamart's branding remains recognizable, authentic, and memorable, reflecting the client's values and commitment to the community.
